Job Description

Work under the guidance of a registered pharmacist, assisting with various tasks related to dispensing and selling over-the-counter products.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

Providing friendly and helpful assistance to customers, answering their questions about OTC products, providing OTC advice and referring to pharmacist when appropriate.
OTC Product Knowledge:

Possessing a good understanding of various OTC medicines and their uses allowing them to recommend appropriate products to customers.
Stock Management:

Ensuring proper stock rotation, monitoring inventory levels, ordering new stock, and dealing with suppliers.
Merchandising:

Maintaining a clean and tidy pharmacy, organizing products on shelves, and ensuring they are attractively displayed.
Prescription Support:

Helping with the processing of prescriptions, taking in prescriptions from customers, and handing out prescriptions under pharmacist supervision
Teamwork:

Working effectively as part of the pharmacy team, collaborating with other assistants and the pharmacist.
