PharmacyJobs.ie started out as a recruitment platform for pharmacy and has grown into a healthcare recruitment and careers platform, run by Irish Locums Healthcare Group (ILHG). It now connects pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, nurses, dental nurses, healthcare assistants, doctors, social care workers and other healthcare professionals with pharmacies, hospitals, nursing homes, GP practices, dental practices and social care services across Ireland.
Candidates browse locum shifts and permanent roles and apply directly to the employer. Employers advertise vacancies and request locum cover, whether they need someone for one shift or a permanent hire.

Part of Irish Locums Healthcare Group
Irish Locums Healthcare Recruitment has been placing healthcare and pharmacy professionals since 2020. From 2024, as its work with pharmacies, healthcare organisations and professionals grew, it developed into a wider healthcare group, adding training, compliance and workforce services alongside recruitment. That group now operates as Irish Locums Healthcare Group (ILHG), with all of its services working together under one integrated model.
PharmacyJobs.ie is the group's jobs and careers site. The same team works with healthcare employers and professionals every day, and can also help with training, compliance and workforce planning.

Our founder
Emmerencia Atowo
Founder & Chief Executive Officer, Irish Locums Healthcare Group
"At Irish Locums Healthcare Group, I believe that building a successful organisation begins with investing in people."
Emmerencia established ILHG to connect healthcare organisations with skilled professionals and to help people build their careers. She holds a BA (Honours) in Business and an MSc in Humanitarian Logistics from Dublin City University, along with professional qualifications in Training and Development.
She is currently completing a Doctor of Business Administration at South East Technological University. Her research focuses on developing and evaluating an integrated workforce management model for employee retention in Irish community pharmacies, examining recruitment practices and structured professional development.
